HISTORY

In 2001, Spectrum Design & Conservation Hub (SDCH), Initially knows as SDH, was established to cater to the needs of Museums, Archives, and Art Collectors in the field of Architecture and Interior Design. The firm specialized in Graphics, Lighting, Exhibition, Signage, Furniture, Product & Storage Design for Art objects. with a belief in an integral approach to design, SDCH challenged conventional aesthetics and planning, providing cost-efficient and effective solutions. We developed a unique software called the Design Archiving System, designed specially for use in Museums and Archives. The firm expanded its expertise to encompass Art Conservation and related works by hiring trained conservators and a team of highly acclaimed senior professionals.

SDCH is now a registered organization with a board of directors comprising professionals and academicians. Our team consists of highly trained professionals committed to the work of SDCH. Looking ahead, the company aims to further expand its presence in the field of Artifact Authentication. We are actively involved in creating a database of original works and acquiring instruments for examination to initiate this aspect of Art examination in the near future.

Research & Development

At SDCH, Research & Development (R&D) plays a pivotal role in our commitment to innovation and excellence. Our dedicated R&D team constantly explores emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in the fields of Art, Design, and Conservation. Through rigorous experimentation and collaboration with industry experts and academic institutions, we push the boundaries of traditional practices, seeking novel solutions to complex challenges.

One of the key focuses of our R&D efforts is the development of innovative software solutions tailored specifically for the needs of Museums and Archives. We are currently in the process of developing a unique software called the Museum Director. This software is designed to streamline and enhance various aspects of museum and archive management, including collections management, exhibition planning, conservation tracking, and visitor engagement. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and virtual reality, Museum Director aims to revolutionize the way cultural institutions manage and showcase their collections. 

Additionally, our R&D initiatives extend to the field of Art Conservation and related works. Recognizing the importance of preserving cultural heritage for future generations, we have expanded our expertise by hiring trained conservators and assembling a team of highly acclaimed senior professionals. Through ongoing research and development efforts, we are continuously refining our conservation techniques and exploring new methodologies to ensure the  longevity and authenticity of artistic and historical artifacts.
